Aspire Torch Tower, Doha, Qatar

With a height of 300 m, the Aspire Tower in the Emirate of Qatar, visible from afar, forms the centre of the sports centre of the capital Doha. 3,800 RGB LED luminaires with 9 W each, specially designed and manufactured by dot-spot, are distributed around the tower and enable the presentation of static and dynamic light shows.

Due to the harsh climatic conditions near the desert and coast, with high temperature fluctuations, the luminaires were equipped with a dynamic thermal protection circuit to protect the LEDs from overheating.
