We mourn the loss of our company founder and managing director

On 7 September 2025, our company founder and managing director Thomas Hödel passed away completely unexpectedly. With him, we have lost a wonderful person, visionary, friend and problem solver. Our products and projects bear his signature; he led the company with the aim of fulfilling every customer request. He was distinguished by his superhuman commitment in many areas, not only in the company, but also in society.

His motto: ‘Everyone said it couldn't be done! Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it!’

He was tirelessly active for dot-spot at numerous trade fairs and visits to business partners at home and abroad. Direct human contact was very important to him. With great attention to detail, he always found the best solution. He was wholeheartedly committed to the well-being of his employees; they were like family to him.

We will continue to run dot-spot in his spirit with all our strength. His brother, Peter Hödel, has taken over the management of the company. Together with a strong and loyal team, we will ensure that all projects and commitments are continued as usual.
