Little dwarf with a huge performance

With a diameter of only 10 cm, the new swivelling LED recessed floor spotlight brilliance maxi from dot-spot with 20 W connected load and up to 2150 lumens provides a light output that is otherwise only offered by much larger luminaires. The focus is on the lighting effect - the filigree luminaire, on the other hand, makes itself almost invisible.

 

LED specialist dot-spot packs 2150 lumens of light output into an LED spotlight with a diameter of just 10 cm. Despite its small size, the brilliance maxi can effortlessly illuminate facades up to a height of 30 m. As a further development of the brilliance 10 W, the brilliance maxi is also equipped with the patented ball swivel mechanism inside and can also be installed under water. This not only allows the luminaire unit to be swivelled easily, but also ensures optimum heat dissipation to the housing. The specially anodised aluminium ground mounting sleeve forms a thermal unit with the luminaire, optimally emitting heat to the surrounding soil. The THERMOPROTECT system also prevents the LED from overheating in borderline situations.

 

The brilliance maxi is available in three shades of white with 10, 20 and 35° beam angles. The separate dimming input provides convenient brightness control from 0-100%. Optionally, the luminaire can be supplied with an integrated honeycomb glare shield. The IP 68 protection rating enables installation in almost all areas.

 

While conventional LED recessed floor luminaires in this performance class are often only modified halogen or metal halide luminaires, the brilliance maxi from dot-spot was specially developed as a pure LED luminaire. The small design also has a positive effect on the price of the luminaire and offers the best heat dissipation despite the swivelling luminaire body.
